Dear Lions Academy Families,
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. We welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and we look forward to working with you and your children.
All signs point to an incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). Our enthusiastic office team is registering new families, ordering needed materials and updating student files. Our hard working and conscientious staff have spent the summer thoroughly cleaning our facility, and, our much-appreciated PTO is gearing up to welcome families, provide volunteer opportunities, and offer other exciting events and programs. We are indeed a joyous and caring community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and promoting high-level learning.
Each year brings positive change. This includes new and innovative teaching methods for all of our students. As you know the COVID 19 Pandemic has affected what would be considered our normal routine. However, we are not letting the uncertainty that exist affect the education that our children so desperately need and deserve.
We are certain that many families are wondering what the Fall 2020-2021 school year will look like for your child. Well, we are happy to announce that we will be offering both in classroom instruction as well as virtual instruction for those families who may not be ready for their child to return to the classroom. Our teachers will be live streaming directly from their classrooms. This will give our families who are a part of our virtual community the opportunity to feel a part of the classroom, interact with other students, and actively participate in classroom learning and discussions.
For the families that will be participating in the in class learning our school and classrooms will be set up according to the CDC and government mandates. We will be practicing social distancing, wearing our face coverings, performing daily temperature checks on all of our students and staff, sanitizing and handwashing with our handwashing stations that will be setup throughout the school. Providing a safe environment for our teachers, staff, and students are our top priorities.
Let’s do it!
Thank you to all who are helping prepare for the new school year. Your commitment to ensuring that Lions Math & Science Christian Academy remains a celebrated and successful school is awe-inspiring. We eagerly look forward to greeting students and families again. It remains an honor and privilege to serve our community. Please stop by and say hello, or call our main office if you have any questions. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children.
